Millie Bobby Brown is dominating headlines with her performance in Stranger Things Season 5. Following the premiere of the first volume, the actress appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and talked
about the final season of Stranger Things.
While reacting to fan theories and talking about Will Byers’ superpowers, Millie Bobby Brown was careful not to slip up and share spoilers. She further shared details about the finale and her experience of the emotional table read.
Millie Bobby Brown Reacts to Fan Theories and Will’s Superpower
During the show, Millie reacted to a few popular fan theories surrounding Stranger Things. One such theory claimed Eleven helped the Demogorgon take Will to the Upside Down in Season 1, to which the actress exclaimed, “I’ve actually never heard that one. Did that happen? I can’t believe people can remember that far. I can’t confirm or deny it.”
Another popular theory stated Vecna is not the main villain, but he is being controlled by a Mind Flayer, which received a noncommittal “hmmm” reply from Millie. The actress admitted it was a popular theory. She nearly burst out laughing at the theory which claimed Karen Wheeler is Vecna’s little sister and said, “This is hilarious!”
The final theory stated Eleven and Will are twins who were separated at birth; the actress corrected Fallon and said, “Noah and Millie were separated at birth.” She also jokingly recalled her reaction when she found out Will had powers. “I was fuming. Are you joking? We’re giving out powers willy-nilly. No, I was really happy when we did the read-through. I couldn’t believe it. As I was looking at him, ‘We get to be superheroes together.'” She further added that she was not worried about Will’s fate but “would have died had Will died.”
Millie Bobby Brown Recalls the Final Table Read
When Millie was asked about filming the finale episode, she shared she did not know how to react the night before. “Right before the last table read, we didn’t know what was going to happen. Nobody knew. I actually did know. I like to blackmail the directors. I have high school pictures of them that I will say I will release if you don’t tell me. But I sneaked into the writer’s room, and I saw this really big whiteboard with all the endings. And I was just like… so much to process.”
Recalling the last table read, Millie revealed, “There are 30 cast members on the show; it’s such a big cast. Noah and I made 30 cast bracelets for everyone with charms that describe their personalities. When we went in, we gave them to everyone, and it was just a really wholesome day. We didn’t sit at a table; we sat on couches and cried for two hours straight.”
