A petrol bomb was allegedly hurled at a office of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh in Jharkhand’s capital Ranchi in the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday, senior leaders of the BJP alleged, as per
ANI. Union Minister of State and senior BJP leader from Jharkhand Sanjay Seth said that two youths threw this bomb at the office at 12:36 AM.
He alleged that this points towards a ‘big consipiracy’ and demanded that a police picket be set up near Sangh’s office.
“An attack on the Sangh office. The Sangh office is our mother. At 1236 am, two youths throw petrol bombs at the Sangh office. It indicates towards a big conspiracy. We have spoken to the DC. The senior SP is not returning our calls. We have requested to establish a police picket near the Sangh’s office,” said Seth, as quoted by ANI.
Speaking to the media, Deputy Superintendent of Police for the city, KV Raman said that two bottles were found and a team from the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) is examining them.
“Cyber DSP and other police officials have been tasked in the case. A team headed by the police commissioner has been constituted. On the analysis of the CCTV footage, we have got information about a few suspects,” he said.
