Some dinners are about the food, while others leave you with something a little more special. You create a new bond, have heartfelt conversations and plenty of laughter. PV Sindhu seems to have found just
that during a recent dinner with Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan in Chennai. The badminton champion shared glimpses from the evening, along with a sweet note about how the couple now feels like ‘a little more family’ to her. Sindhu’s husband Venkata Datta Sai also joined them.
Taking to her official Instagram account, PV Sindhu posted pictures with Nayanthara and Vignesh. In the caption, she wrote, “Beautiful evening. Amazing food. Conversations from the heart and endless laughter. Funny how some dinners can change the way you see people. You walk in as friends, talk about life, love and everything in between, and somehow leave feeling like you’ve known each other forever.”
Sindhu wrote about how she already has a family in Chennai but now she has found a space with Nayanthara and Vignesh too. “Chennai has always felt like home with my beloved aunty @senthilkumararthi there, but after this evening, it somehow feels like I have a little more family waiting for me there now. Wickii & Nayan, you two are all heart.”

Pusarla Venkata Sindhu is an Indian badminton player who has won medals at tournaments such as the Olympic Games, the World Championships, and on the World Tour. She remains the first and only Indian badminton player to be crowned world champion and is also the second Indian individual athlete to claim medals at consecutive Olympic Games.
Meanwhile, Vignesh and Nayanthara got married in Mahabalipuram in June 2022. In October that year, the couple welcomed twins via surrogacy. Their relationship and journey to parenthood were later chronicled in Netflix’s 2024 documentary, Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairytale.
On the work front, Nayanthara has a packed slate ahead. The actor is currently shooting for Vamshi Paidipally’s yet-to-be-titled film with Salman Khan and also has Mookuthi Amman 2, Mannangatti Since 1960, Dear Students, and Rakkayie in the pipeline.
