Looks like Pankaj Kapur has added a new set of wheels to his garage and it’s a classy one. The veteran actor has brought home a brand-new Audi Q7, joining the long list of Bollywood celebrities who swear
by the luxury SUV for both comfort and everyday practicality.
The news was shared by Audi Mumbai West, an authorised dealer of the brand, through a social media post. The picture shows Pankaj Kapur posing with his family during the delivery ceremony. While the actor takes centre stage in the image, the SUV itself is only partially visible.
The Audi Q7 has quietly become a favourite among Bollywood stars. Several actors, including Kriti Sanon, Sanjay Dutt, John Abraham, Varun Dhawan, Katrina Kaif, Kareena Kapoor and Yami Gautam, own the SUV. Its appeal lies in its understated design, making it a popular choice for daily travel without drawing excessive attention.
Despite its subtle exterior, the Q7 offers a premium and spacious cabin. The SUV comes with plush seating, a comfortable ride quality and a practical seven-seat layout. It also offers generous boot space, adding to its everyday usability.
In India, the Audi Q7 is priced between ₹86.14 lakh and ₹95.03 lakh (ex-showroom). The SUV is equipped with features focused on luxury, technology and comfort. These include quattro all-wheel drive, adaptive air suspension and Audi Drive Select with multiple driving modes.
Inside, the cabin gets leather upholstery, electrically adjustable seats with memory function, ambient lighting and a third row that can be folded at the touch of a button. Technology highlights include Audi Virtual Cockpit Plus, a dual-screen MMI navigation system, smartphone connectivity, wireless charging and an optional Bang and Olufsen 3D sound system. Additional comforts include four-zone climate control, an air ioniser with aromatisation, a panoramic sunroof and a sensor-operated tailgate. Safety features include a 360-degree camera, park assist, lane departure warning, cruise control and eight airbags.
Powering the Audi Q7 is a 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 petrol engine that delivers 340 PS of power and 500 Nm of torque. It is paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox and Audi’s Quattro all-wheel drive system.
According to Audi, the Q7 can reach a top speed of 250 kmph and accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 5.6 seconds.
