The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE), Hyderabad, has implemented a new measure for the Intermediate Public Examinations 2026 to improve transparency and keep parents informed. As per the official
notice, hall tickets for the Telangana Intermediate examinations will be sent to parents’ registered mobile numbers via WhatsApp. This initiative aims to enable parents and students to check all details in advance and prevent last-minute issues.
This preview will help verify details such as name, photograph, group, medium, and subjects. Intermediate First Year students can download the preview hall ticket by entering their Secondary School Certificate Roll Number and Date of Birth. Intermediate Second Year students can download the preview hall ticket by entering their First Year Hall Ticket Number and Date of Birth.
For Second Year students, the preview hall ticket will also include first year marks for subjects already passed, marks of failed subjects (if any), and the actual examination schedule. This will help parents clearly understand the student’s academic status.
Students and parents are advised to carefully check all details printed on the preview hall ticket. If any mistakes are found, such as errors in name, photograph, group, or subjects, students should immediately contact the concerned College Principal, or the District Intermediate Education Officer (DIEO) or Nodal Officer of their respective district. This should be done well before the final hall ticket is issued.
The practical exams will be held between February 2 to 21 in two shifts — 9 am to noon and 2 pm to 5 pm. The English practical exam for 1st year students will be conducted on January 21, while for 2nd year students, it will take place on January 22. The Ethics and Human Values practical exam will be conducted on January 23 from 10 am to 1 pm, according to the official notice. The Environmental Education exam will be held on January 24. If the practical exam schedule conflicts with JEE Main 2026, the Telangana board has announced it will provide alternative arrangements for the affected candidates.
The theory exams will be held from February 25 to March 18.
