Soundarya Rajinikanth has confirmed that her father, legendary actor Rajinikanth, is currently working on his much-awaited autobiography. The news has sparked buzz and excitement among fans. She has also
mentioned that the book will be sharing rare and deeply personal glimpse into the life of one of Indian cinema’s most celebrated superstars.
In a recent conversation with Galatta, Soundarya was sharing some glimpse of the book and said, “For our dear Thalaiva, the man who paved his own way through hard work, Rajini sir has already begun writing his life history, beginning from his struggles as a bus conductor in Bengaluru to becoming a superstar in Kollywood,” providing insight into the scope of the autobiography.
She also remarked, “The book would narrate the important turning points in his life that people are curious to know.”
Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2
Rajinikanth’s much-awaited sequel Jailer 2 continues to generate buzz among the fans, and the latest reports suggest that the makers are planning to shoot film’s climax at a famous location. If reports are to be believed, director Nelson Dilipkumar has selected Kerala for the high-voltage final sequence of the film.
Times Now has quoted sources suggesting that the Kochi schedule will feature some of the sequel’s most high-octane action sequences. Rajinikanth’s arrival in Kerala has created a buzz among fans. Photos and videos from his arrival are going online. Jailer 2 stars Vinayakan, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Santhanam, Mithun Chakraborty, and Meghana Raj Sarja are part of the project.
Adding to the excitement surrounding the sequel, Vijay Sethupathi recently confirmed his involvement in Jailer 2. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter India, the actor revealed that he has done a cameo appearance in the film.
He stated that he agreed to the role purely out of admiration for Rajinikanth and for the opportunity to learn from the superstar, calling it an experience driven by respect and affection rather than professional obligation.
What’s Next For Rajinikanth
Once Jailer 2 wraps up, Rajinikanth will move on to his next project, tentatively titled Thalaivar173. The film will be directed by Cibi Chakravarthy, best known for Don, and will be co-produced by Kamal Haasan under the banner of Raaj Kamal Films International.
The film will feature music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Initially, the project was announced with Sundar C as the director, marking a potential reunion. However, the filmmaker later exited due to prior commitments.
