KOJAK, Juhu
An immersive cocktail bar that blends narrative, craft, and mystique into a drinking experience, KOJAK is unlike anything the suburb has seen. Inspired by the enigmatic legend of a man known only as Kojak, the space invites guests into a world shaped by hidden tales, coded discoveries, and the undeniable pull of the unknown. In true Kojak fashion, the bar unveils itself slowly, with subtle cues and quiet sophistication. The concept stems from a remarkable find: Kojak’s original leather notebook, filled with cryptic sketches, fragmented thoughts, and experimental cocktail formulas. The enigmatic Cocktail Lab brings the legend to life with techniques that feel almost alchemical. The menu reimagines global bar cuisine through a refined, contemporary lens, bringing together plates that balance bold flavour with artistic restraint.

Roxanne, Andheri
Roxanne’s Bar & All Day Diner is a retro-nostalgia-led–led bar and diner opening in Andheri
East. The space brings together the comfort and familiarity of a classic diner with the rhythm and energy of a contemporary cocktail bar. Designed with art-deco accents and a warm, lived-in sensibility, Roxanne’s serves a global, immigrant-inspired menu that draws from Modern American, Asian, and Continental cuisines, anchored by a dedicated robata-grilled selection. The menu is designed for flexibility with shareable plates, diner-style comforts, and
global flavours that pair naturally with cocktails. Dishes are ingredient-forward, familiar
yet elevated. The format is intentionally flexible, easy daytime dining that transitions naturally into lively evenings. The cocktail program focuses on approachability and balance. Drinks are designed to be easy to enjoy, not overly complex, and adaptable to different moods and times of day. At the heart of the space is a central viewing bar with VDJ sets, where music plays a leading role without overpowering conversation. Roxanne’s is built for people who come for good food, stay for the music, and leave feeling like regulars.
Address – Peninsula Redpine Hotel, Marol, Andheri East, Mumbai
Timing – 7pm to 1.30 pm
Ammakai by Bastian, Bandra
Bastian has added a new feather to its cap – Ammakai, an all-day dining South Indian restaurant in Bandra. It celebrates the warmth and comfort of home-style cooking and is inspired by the idea of Ammakai, meaning a mother’s hand. The restaurant draws from the rich culinary traditions of Mangalorean households, where recipes are guided by memory, instinct, and love rather than written rules. Led by a team of chefs, they travelled to villages in Mangalore to learn recipes directly from home kitchens. The focus is on presenting Mangalorean cuisine in a way that feels refined and relevant while staying true to its roots, highlighting coastal flavours defined by coconut, tamarind, and spices. Rather than reinventing the food, the menu reveals the depth of the cuisine through thoughtful, modern touches. Guests are encouraged to eat with their hands and discover lesser-known regional dishes, while a few Bastian classics have been retained due to the emotional significance of the space.
Address: Kamal Building, New Linking Rd, Khar, Bandra West, Mumbai
Timings: 11 am to 1 am
