Yash Shares Update About KGF 3
Yash recently graced CinemaCon 2026 in the USA alongside Ramayana producer Namit Malhotra, where the duo participated in multiple interviews and spoke about their upcoming projects. In an interview with Screen Daily, Yash also spoke about KGF 3, revealing that it will happen once the right script comes along. “We aren’t planning anything soon because I have Toxic and Ramayana 1 and 2. Me and the director Prashanth Neel will keep talking,” he said.
He further added, “We need to come up with the right script and then we’ll definitely make it happen.”
KGF: Chapter 2 was released in 2022. The Kannada-language period action film directed by Prashanth Neel starred Yash, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Srinidhi Shetty, Prakash Raj, and others. At the time of release, KGF 2 was the most expensive Kannada film ever made. The film performed phenomenally well, and became the highest-grossing film of 2022 in India.
Yash Shares Details About Toxic
Meanwhile, in the interview with Screen Daily, Yash also opened up about his upcoming film Toxic. “It’s a father-and-son revenge saga that starts after India gained independence and the British had left, but Goa was still under Portuguese control [until 1961]. There was so much mystery around that place. It’s gangster era, so it’s about greed, power, and politics, but we go deeper. We explore emotions. It’s a love story,” he said.
Yash said that the world is waiting for fresh content and that both his upcoming films—Ramayana and Toxic—aim to be the answer. He added that with both films, the goal is to bring different worlds together, allowing audiences to experience diverse cultures while also being entertained.
