On the occasion of Salman Khan’s 60th birthday, his longtime friend and co-star, Bhagyashree, took to Instagram to share a sweet wish for him. The Bollywood superstar rang in his birthday on Saturday,
December 27. The 56-year-old actress’ post stood out as a warm tribute that highlighted their enduring friendship and the journey they have shared together. Besides an affectionate note, she also posted throwback pictures with him.
In the first photo, the duo was seen sharing a warm hug, both smiling brightly. The picture appeared to have been taken during Bhagyashree’s appearance on the reality TV show Bigg Boss. For the occasion, the actress looked graceful in an elegant saree, while Salman opted for a sharp, tailored suit.
Bhagyashree Wishes “Health And Happiness” To Salman Khan
The second picture captured the two actors at an event, both dressed in soft pastel-coloured outfits. The image reflected their comfort and camaraderie. Wishing him good health and well-being on his birthday, Bhagyashree wrote in the caption, “Then and now! Friendship always… dosti ke asool humesha, Happy birthday, @beingsalmankhan. Wish you health, happiness, and peace.”

Salman and Bhagyashree have been friends ever since starring in the 1989 romantic film, Maine Pyar Kiya. Both were newcomers back then. The film, produced by Rajshri Productions, marked Bhagyashree’s acting debut. At the same time, it was Salman’s first time playing a lead role, despite having previously appeared in a supporting role in Biwi Ho To Aisi.
Directed by Sooraj Barjatya, the film became a commercial blockbuster and launched the careers of both actors. Besides the lead pair, Maine Pyar Kiya featured Alok Nath, Rajeev Verma, Reema Lagoo, Ajit Vachani and Mohnish Bahl.
How Is Salman Khan Celebrating His 60th Birthday?
Ditching any extravaganza, the Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor decided to host an intimate celebration at his Panvel farmhouse. From his family members, including his parents, Salim Khan and Salma Khan, to his siblings, Arbaaz Khan, Sohail Khan, and Arpita Khan Sharma, and many industry friends, were in attendance at the event. Actors Aditya Roy Kapur, Huma Qureshi, Rakul Preet Singh, Maniesh Paul, and Randeep Hooda were among the notable guests.
Before celebrating his birthday with his friends and family, Salman also made sure to cut a cake with the media personnel stationed outside his farmhouse. He distributed cake slices to them and even posed for pictures.
