Thama, the next chapter of Dinesh Vijan’s Horror comedy universe featuring Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, Paresh Rawal and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, is generating significant anticipation ever since
its announcement. On Tuesday, the makers finally unveiled the film’s official teaser, calling it their first ‘bloody love story’.
Helmed by Aditya Sarpotdar, who previously directed Munjya, the teaser has left fans buzzing with excitement and theories about the film’s dark, twisted world.

The teaser begins with Ayushmann’s voiceover: “Reh paogi mere bina, sau saalon tak?” Rashmika responds, “Sau saal kya, ek pal ke liye bhi nahi.” These lines pique viewers’ interest in the story immediately. Set in a fictional world, the teaser leaves viewers guessing who the vampire is. With shades of suspense, thrill and romance, it promises a ‘bloody’ love story unlike any other.
In the film, Ayushmann will portray the role of Alok, Rashmika is Tadaka, Nawazuddin takes on Yakshasan, and Paresh portrays Ram Bajaj Goyal. Faisal Malik and Geeta Aggarwal are also a part of the film.
Thama is all set to hit the big screens on the occasion of Diwali 2025.
