The Christmas spirit has well and truly kicked in for Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri stars Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday as their romantic comedy gears up for a theatrical release on December 25.
With the film set to arrive in cinemas on the holiday, the lead pair treated fans to a festive photo dump, turning Santa for each other and adding to the buzz surrounding the Sameer Vidwans directorial.
Anticipation around the film has been steadily building, especially as Kartik and Ananya reunite after Pati Patni Aur Woh, a collaboration that was widely appreciated by audiences. Fans are eager to watch Kartik’s Ray and Ananya’s Rumi recreate their on-screen chemistry, this time in a festive, feel-good setting. The film also boasts a strong supporting cast, including Neena Gupta, Jackie Shroff and Tiku Talsania.
Taking to their official Instagram handles on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, Kartik and Ananya shared a series of pictures that showcased their playful camaraderie and romantic chemistry. The duo was seen indulging in PDA and lighthearted antics, perfectly in sync with the Christmas mood. Ananya opted for a red mini dress, while Kartik kept it casual in a white shirt paired with blue denim. Embracing the festive theme, both were seen wearing reindeer horn-style cutouts.
They captioned the post, “Tu meri Christmas Main tera Santa .See you in cinemas Tomorrow. #TuMeriMainTeraMainTeraTuMeri.”
While the stars continue to promote the film and advance bookings are underway, Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri is facing stiff competition when it comes to securing screens and shows. According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, Dharma Productions’ distribution team has requested specific screen and show allocations, keeping in mind the crowded Christmas release window.
A source was quoted as saying, “The team of Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri is aware that Dhurandhar is still unstoppable and will continue to find a huge audience on Christmas, when their film will arrive in cinemas. They also know that Avatar: Fire and Ash has taken up several shows and screens. Hence, they have asked for fair and modest showcasing, keeping in mind the realities.”
The source further added, “The distribution team of Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri has asked for a minimum of 2 shows in theatres with 1 screen. In 2-screen plexes, they have asked for 5 shows. Multiplexes with 3, 4, 5, and 6 screens need to play 6, 8, 12, and 14 shows a day, respectively. Lastly, for multiplexes with 7 screens and more, the team of the film has asked for 16 shows.”
Despite these requests, the film is reportedly struggling to secure sufficient screen space. “Thankfully, Avatar: Fire and Ash didn’t get a release in single screens, and hence these theatres need to divide shows only between Dhurandhar and the romcom. But even that is proving to be a challenge,” the source added, citing sustained demand for Dhurandhar and long runtimes affecting show divisions.
Directed by Sameer Vidwans and produced by Dharma Productions and Namah Pictures, Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri releases in cinemas on December 25.
