it easier than ever to catch the action without a streaming subscription.
Dhurandhar Part 1 (2025), fronted by Ranveer Singh and directed by Aditya Dhar, is all set for its television premiere this May. The film, which released in cinemas in December last year, went on to dominate the global box office before making its digital debut on Netflix on January 30.

Now, the makers are bringing the spy thriller to television audiences. The film will premiere on Star Gold on May 30, 2026, at 7 pm, offering a viewing option for those who prefer traditional TV platforms.
Announcing the premiere, Star Gold shared the update on Instagram, writing, “Ladies and Gentlemen, ab aa gaya hai waqt bigadne ka Aa raha hai Dhurandhar ka World TV Premiere, 30th May, raat 7 baje, sirf Star Gold par (sic).”

The film has been a massive commercial success. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Dhurandhar has earned Rs 1,307.35 crore worldwide, placing it among the highest-grossing Indian films. The project is written and directed by Aditya Dhar and produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Dhar, and Lokesh Dhar under the banners of Jio Studios and B62 Studios.

Drawing inspiration from major real-life incidents, the narrative weaves together elements based on the 1999 IC-814 hijacking, the 2001 Indian Parliament attack, and the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks. Alongside Ranveer Singh, the film features a multi-starrer cast including Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Rakesh Bedi and Sara Arjun in key roles.
In an unusual move for an Indian film, Dhurandhar also saw an international re-release on March 13 across 500 screens globally, with 250 of those in India.
Meanwhile, the franchise has already moved ahead with its sequel. Dhurandhar: The Revenge, which released on March 19, has crossed Rs 1200 crore worldwide and is expected to surpass the first instalment’s lifetime collections. In India, the film is steadily approaching the Rs 800 crore mark.
