post on social media to mark his 90th birth anniversary. In her note, she wrote that Dharmendra’s death left her heartbroken, and she has been trying to slowly gather up the pieces of her life. She recalled their happy moments together, and wrote that the joyful moments cannot be erased. Hema Malini added that she is thankful to God for the years they got to spend together, and for their two beautiful daughters Esha Deol and Ahana Deol.
Hema Malini Shares Emotional Note On Dharmendra’s 90th Birth Anniversary
Hema Malini took to X (formerly Twitter) to share two happy throwback photos with Dharmendra. Remembering him on his birth anniversary, she wrote, “Dharam ji. Happy birthday my dear heart. More than two weeks have passed since you left me heartbroken, slowly gathering up the pieces and trying to reconstruct my life, knowing that you will always be with me in spirit. The joyful memories of our life together can never be erased and just reliving those moments bring me great solace and happiness.”

She further added, “I thank God for our lovely years together, for our two beautiful girls who reaffirm our love for each other and for all the beautiful, happy memories that will remain with me in my heart. Sunny Deol And Esha Deol’s Emotional Tributes
Earlier today, Dharmendra’s children Sunny Deol and Esha Deol paid tributes to their late father on his birth anniversary. Sunny Deol shared a throwback video featuring a warm moment between him and Dharmendra during a trip to a hill station. In the clip, Sunny is heard asking, “Papa, are you enjoying?” Dharmendra, smiling and relaxed, replies, “I am really enjoying my son.” Sunny then responds gently, “It’s beautiful.”
Sunny posted the video with a short, personal caption written in Hindi, “Aaj meri papa ka janamdin hai. Papa humesha mere saath hai. Love you papa. Miss you.”
Meanwhile, Esha Deol shared a few pictures with her father, and wrote, “To my darling Papa. Our pact, the strongest bond. “Us” through all our lifetimes, all the realms and beyond… We are always together papa. Be it heaven or earth. We are one.”
She wrote that she has carefully tucked him deep inside her heart to carry him with her for the rest of her life. “I so painfully miss you papa… your warm protective hugs that felt like the cosiest blanket, holding your soft yet strong hands which had unspoken messages & your voice calling out my name that followed with endless conversations, laughter & shayaris.
