She announced the album’s title, prompting an enthusiastic reaction from Jason Kelce. While the cover art was blurred in the clip, it appeared to feature a mint green and orange colour scheme. The post quickly gained traction, receiving 75,000 likes within six minutes of being uploaded.

This announcement followed a teaser from Taylor Nation, which shared a carousel of 12 photos at 9:12 a.m. Eastern showing Swift dressed in orange during her Eras Tour performances. The caption read, “Thinking about when she said ‘See you next era…’” The post appeared just 12 minutes after Travis Kelce’s podcast, New Heights, hinted at a special guest. It was later confirmed that the guest was Taylor Swift, who also sported orange lipstick in the episode preview.
The official release date for The Life of a Showgirl has not yet been announced. Following the common industry practice, Taylor Swift typically drops new music on Fridays. With that in mind, September 12, 2025, a Friday, stands out as a probable release date for the album.
