Taking to her Instagram handle, Alia Bhatt shared the photos from Cannes 2026 and wrote, “CANNES 2026 @lorealparis.” Soni Razdan, Karan Johar, Sharvari and others also reacted. One of the fans wrote. “Masha’Allah The princess looks so small, like a little angel, wow! My eyes are only looking at you, and your appearance was exactly what I expected.” Another wrote, “Someone tell Disney their next princess already exists.”

Alia Bhatt’s looks ahead of her 2026 Cannes appearances have been a mix of structured power-dressing and landscape-inspired couture. On her way out of Hotel Martinez the actress was seen channelling princess vibes in a breathtaking pastel ball gown. The strappy gown featured a structured corset bodice that ended in a voluminous skirt with landscape prints in muted tones of ivory, moss green, and slate blue. Keeping with the Breakfast at Tiffany’s energy, Alia paired the gown with minimal jewellery (a pair of studs and few rings), letting the intricate scenery on the fabric take center stage. Her hair was kept in a soft, messy bun with loose tendrils, giving her a “romantic-renaissance” vibe.

On the professional front, Alia will next be seen in Alpha, part of the YRF spy universe, alongside Sharvari and Bobby Deol. She is also set to reunite with Ranbir Kapoor in Love and War, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
Alia Bhatt is reportedly set to join the cast of Tumbbad 2. According to a report by Pinkvilla, the actress has already begun shooting for the film and will be seen in a significant role despite a relatively short schedule. Sources suggest that Alia Bhatt has been roped in for a powerful character that will be filmed over an intensive 20-day shoot. Pinkvilla quoted a source saying, “Alia has a power-packed role in Tumbbad 2. While it’s a 20-day shoot, the character is extremely important and directly sets up the events of the third film. She loved the script, and it was a no-brainer for her.”
Alia is currently busy shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War with Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.
