Now, as she gears up for her much-anticipated Bollywood debut, excitement among fans is at an all-time high. In a recent interview with the Bombay Times, she expressed how she wants to carry that same authenticity into her characters, making them feel real and alive.
She emphasises the importance of authenticity in her acting and says, “I feel like the moment we start acting instead of living the character, it’s not authentic anymore. Especially in Hindi cinema, the scripts I’ve heard are a little more real, a little more my age, very close to my character.”
She adds, “In the past, I’ve played many characters that weren’t completely like me – I tapped into different roles. But these last couple of films feel like me, like a plain me, like how I would really react. I’m excited to bring my authentic self to every screen, no matter what language.”
Sreeleela is gearing up for her Bollywood debut opposite Kartik Aaryan. Their fresh pairing has already created a buzz among fans. While the film is yet to be officially titled, it is widely believed to be Aashiqui 3. Earlier in February 2025, the team shared the first look of the yet-to-be-titled romantic film.

He was seen singing Tu Meri Zindagi Hai, sporting a brooding lover’s look with a heavy beard and rugged long hair. The video also featured a few glimpses of Sreeleela and Kartik’s romantic moments, giving fans a sneak peek at the fresh pair’s sizzling chemistry.
