The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the IBPS exam calendar 2026, announcing tentative dates for the preliminary and main examinations for Clerk, Probationary Officer (PO),
Specialist Officer (SO) and RRB posts. Candidates can check the detailed schedule on the official website, ibps.in.
According to the calendar, the IBPS PO preliminary examination will be conducted on August 22 and August 23, 2026. The Specialist Officer (SO) prelims are scheduled for August 29, 2026, while the Clerk preliminary examination will be held on October 10 and October 11, 2026.
For the main examinations, the IBPS PO mains will take place on October 4, 2026. The SO mains examination is scheduled for November 1, 2026, and the Customer Service Associate (Clerk) mains exam will be held on December 27, 2026.
The calendar also includes dates for Regional Rural Banks (RRBs). The IBPS RRB Officer Scale I prelims will be conducted on November 21 and November 22, 2026. The Office Assistant prelims exam is scheduled for December 6, December 12 and December 13, 2026.
As per the tentative schedule, the RRB Officer Scale I, II and III main examination will be held on December 20, 2026, while the RRB Office Assistant mains exam will take place on January 30, 2027.
Candidates planning to appear for IBPS exams in 2026 are advised to keep track of updates on the official IBPS website and plan their preparation according to the tentative schedule.
