A disturbing incident has surfaced from Dwarkapuri area of Indore, where a woman received a parcel containing a firearm and a threat note, triggering panic in the locality.

Patel received a parcel at her residence around 7:30 am on Monday. A young man arrived at her doorstep, introduced himself as a delivery agent, handed over the parcel, and left immediately. When Manisha opened the parcel, she was shocked to find a country-made pistol inside, along with a handwritten threatening note.
Terrified by the discovery, she immediately informed the police.
Police Rush To The Spot
Dwarkapuri police promptly reached the house, seized the parcel and the pistol, and launched an investigation. Both the weapon and the threat note have been sent for forensic examination to verify whether the pistol is functional and to identify the handwriting used in the note.
Threat Note Details Revealed
DCP Anand Kaladgi stated that the note contained a serious warning directed at the complainant’s family. It mentioned that the family had accumulated substantial property and included explicit threats of an attack, raising concerns about their safety.
FIR Registered, CCTV Footage Under Review
An FIR has been registered in connection with the case. Police teams are examining CCTV footage from the Dwarkapuri area to trace the delivery boy and track his movements. Investigators are also trying to determine who sent the parcel, its point of origin, and the route through which it was delivered.
