Punjab is recovering from the deadliest flood in recent history, and several celebrities along with various NGOs, are coming together to help the people of Punjab in these tough times. Sonu Sood has also
been making reels to spread awareness about the situation. Now, the actor has reached Punjab to understand the on-ground reality so that he can help the needy.
The pictures Sonu Sood shared show him visiting the affected areas and meeting the people there. While sharing the pictures, Sonu wrote, “With Punjab, Forever.”

He further added, “We were on the ground. We saw the loss, the heartbreak — and the strength that refused to fade. Villages under water, lives uprooted, but hope still standing. Whatever Punjab needs, we are here. To help. To rebuild. To heal — together. With Punjab. Forever.”
As Sonu shared the pictures, his fans hailed him for his work. One wrote, “He never backs down from his duty in any situation.” Another wrote, “God bless u veerey 🙏. Celebs Come Out In Support Of Punjab
Amid the crisis, several Punjabi celebrities have also come forward to provide much-needed relief.
Ammy Virk shared that he and his team will support 200 flood-affected families. “Seeing our people without a roof over their heads has left me devastated. In our small effort to bring comfort and stability, we are adopting 200 houses to support those who have lost everything. This is not just about shelter, it’s about giving hope, dignity, and strength to start again,” Virk wrote on X.
Actress Sonam Bajwa also took to her Instagram account and shared, “In these difficult times, my heart goes out to Punjab and everyone affected by the floods. The images and stories coming from there are truly heartbreaking, but what keeps me hopeful is the spirit of unity and resilience that Punjab has always shown. I am doing my part to help by donating to organisations actively working on the ground as rescue teams, and I humbly urge you to do yours too. Every contribution, no matter how small, can make a difference in someone’s life right now. Let’s come together and stand by Punjab in this crucial time.”
Diljit Dosanjh has adopted 10 villages across Gurdaspur and Amritsar in collaboration with NGOs and local authorities. His team revealed that they are working to provide immediate relief, including food, water, and medical aid.
