Former Air Marshal Jitendra Mishra, the newly appointed CEO of the Ram Temple Trust, said he was extremely happy and grateful to the Trust committee for reposing faith in him and giving him the key responsibility.

‘Prefer To Stay Away From Political Aspects’
Addressing the political controversy surrounding the alleged embezzlement in the Ram Temple project, Mishra said that, coming from a defence background, he would prefer to stay away from the political aspects of the controversy.
Instead, he said his focus would be on the work ahead and on ensuring that the issues concerning the Trust’s functioning are addressed.
Mishra Acknowledges ‘Minor Lapses’
Mishra acknowledged that there had been some minor lapses during the temple-related processes. He said addressing these gaps on the ground would be among his priorities.
The newly appointed CEO said that once he formally takes charge, he will constitute his own team and begin working towards strengthening the functioning of the Trust.
He also said his team would work on resolving the issues that came to light during the controversy.
‘Build And Strengthen The Trust Of The People’
Mishra said his larger objective would be to build and strengthen the trust of the people.
His comments come as he takes charge of the responsibility of overseeing the functioning of the Trust. With the Ram Temple remaining a politically and emotionally significant issue in Uttar Pradesh, Mishra’s appointment comes at a crucial juncture.
The former Air Marshal will now seek to bring his defence experience and administrative approach to the functioning of the Trust, while maintaining his stated focus on the work ahead rather than the political aspects of the controversy.
