Mrunal Thakur decided to share her love for photography with the world and fans are hooked to the pictures she clicked. Ahead of World Photography Day on Tuesday, the actress gave everyone a peek into
her camera roll by dropping a series of candid and aesthetic clicks on Instagram.
From a shadow posing on sand to the beauty of the sea, Mrunal’s pictures beautifully capture moments that are worth melting hearts. Her collection also included what seems like a still of a church and picture-perfect shot of what looks like a bar or a restaurant. But our favourite remains the pictures featuring her brother, Dhaval Thakur.

Mrunal Thakur’s Love For Photography
In her heartfelt note, Mrunal Thakur admitted that photography is more than just a hobby for her. “I have always believed that ‘a picture is worth a thousand words’… and ever since I started taking my love for photography more seriously, I feel it even more,” she shared. She went on to explain her curiosity to learn and explore new things and photography is one passion she wanted to take beyond just admiration.
Mrunal made the big move last year by buying her first Leica camera. Calling it “part joy and part terror,” she confessed, “The passion moved to practical last year when I brought home my first Leica camera.” The actress added, “I was so excited to start clicking pictures and also terrified that I would be terrible at it. But I decided to take the leap and at least try.”
Mrunal Thakur Opens Her Heart To Fans
Opening her heart to fans, Mrunal continued, “With World Photography Day around the corner, I thought I’d share a few stills from my camera (this is after the cycle of inner criticising, contemplating and spending what feels like 92,836 hours overthinking) but maybe that’s also part of the beauty of it… the process, the pause and the patience.”
On the work front, Mrunal Thakur is keeping very busy. Last seen in Son Of Sardaar 2, she will next be seen in Dacoit, opposite Adivi Sesh. The much-anticipated film, directed by Shaneil Deo, also stars Anurag Kashyap in a pivotal role. It is all set to release on December 25 this year.
Furthermore, she has Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai in her kitty alongside Varun Dhawan, Mouni Roy and Pooja Hegde. Produced by Ramesh Taurani and directed by David Dhawan, the film will hit the theatres on April 10, 2026.
