Are Tesla Cars Detecting ‘Ghosts’?
Is Tesla’s technology getting out of hand, or is it just a minor glitch? Recently, several owners reported that their cars’ sensors and cameras detected ‘invisible’ human forms in deserted areas, sparking alarming claims across social media.
The phenomenon started when a Tesla owner posted a video on X, claiming that while driving near a graveyard, his car’s display showed several invisible people roaming around even though no one was actually there. The video quickly went viral, sparking a mix of curiosity and suspicion online.
In the video, two men are shown sitting inside their Tesla at a graveyard to test whether the claim was true. As the video progresses, the car’s monitor displays several “mysterious” human-like figures moving around the vehicle.
It is being reported that Teslas driving through cemeteries pick up human bodies on the sensor and display them on the screen.

How Did Social Media React?
The video quickly intrigued other Tesla users, many eager to test it for themselves. A X user wrote, “Going to go try this.” Another commented, “WTH is this? Can they even pick up ghostly images now? Holy smokes.” Yet another joked, “I’m sure Elon programmed that in himself!”
One Tesla owner revealed that he deliberately drove through a cemetery late at night and saw multiple human-like shapes on his car’s display. “There was absolutely no one around,” he said. “The screen showed moving figures; it was unsettling.”
Another Tesla owner reported a similar experience while driving through a wooded forest. According to him, the car’s sensors detected human-like figures surrounding the vehicle, even though nothing was visible outside.
He was cruising through the forest at dusk, totally alone… or so he thought. Then his phone showed the images of people surrounding his car out of nowhere.

Notably, several similar instances of ‘ghost detection’ have been reported by Tesla users in the past. The company is yet to comment on these claims.
