CLAT 2026 Results: What Is Considered A Good Score?
As candidates await the CLAT 2026 results, many are trying to understand what score is considered good for admission to top National Law Universities (NLUs).
A strong performance in CLAT 2026 generally means attempting around 105 to 110 questions. With this level of accuracy, candidates can expect a score of around 98–100 marks, which is usually enough to secure admission to the top three NLUs.
Here is a category-wise breakdown of what is considered a good CLAT score:
- General category: 90–100+ marks
- EWS category: 85–95+ marks
- Other reserved categories: 80–90+ marks
It is important to note that cut-offs may vary each year depending on factors such as the difficulty level of the paper, number of candidates and seat availability at participating NLUs.
