mocktail recipes deliver festive flair without compromise. Brimming with vibrant colours, sophisticated layers, and flavourful sips, they will rival any cocktail.
These drinks are crafted for crowds and are easy to batch-prep, so you aren’t hassled during the party. Whether you’re hosting a Christmas gathering or counting down to midnight, these non-alcoholic gems ensure everyone raises a glass feeling included and excited.
Espresso Orange Spritz
Ingredients:
• MONIN Orange Spritz Syrup – 20ml
• Espresso – 30ml
• Tonic water – 100ml
• Orange wheel
Method:
- To make this tangy coffee mocktail, add ice into a mixing or serving glass. This should chill the glass and prep it for the drink. Set it aside
- Add the Orange Spritz syrup, espresso, and tonic water into a shaker. If you are batch-making the drink, then add them to a large vessel.
- Stir all the ingredients well to allow the flavours to combine.
- Pour the mocktail into the prepared glass.
- Garnish it with an orange wheel and enjoy.
Spicy Guava Chaat by Atelier V
Ingredients:
• Pink guava juice (chilled) – 100ml
• Fresh lime juice – 10ml
• Chaat masala – 1tsp
• Roasted cumin powder – ¼tsp
• Tabasco (or a pinch of red chilli powder) – 1-2 dashes
• Honey (optional) – ½tsp
• Ice cubes
For the cayenne pepper salt rim:
• 1tbsp salt
• ½tsp cayenne pepper
• Zest of ¼ lime
For the garnish:
• Fresh guava slice
Method:
- To make this chatpata mocktail, mix salt, cayenne, and lime zest on a plate.
- Rub a lime wedge around the rim of your glass and dip it into the mix. This is all the prep you need to make the glass look festive. Set it aside.
- In a shaker or mixing glass, combine guava juice, lime juice, chaat masala, cumin powder, Tabasco (or chilli), and honey for some sweetness.
- Add ice and shake it thoroughly so that all the flavours combine.
- Fill your rimmed glass with fresh ice.
- Strain the mocktail mixture into the glass, and top it with a slice of guava as a garnish.
