Staring at a massive defeat, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of looting at least 100 seats in the recent West Bengal Assembly elections and trained her
guns at the Election Commission for colluding with the saffron party.
“More than 100 seats, the BJP looted. The Election Commission is the BJP’s commission. I complained to the CO and also Manoj Agrawal, but they are not doing anything. Do you think this is a victory?” she told reporters at a Bhabanipur counting centre.

Banerjee said the BJP’s victory was “immoral”, alleging that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah used central forces and the poll body to defeat the Trinamool Congress through unfair means. “It is loot, loot, loot. We will bounce back,” she said.
