India’s Deepti Sharma has moved up to second place in the latest ICC Women’s T20I bowling rankings, inching closer to the top position. Meanwhile, opener Smriti Mandhana has slipped to second place among
batters.
Deepti now shares the second spot with Pakistan’s Sadia Iqbal, having climbed to No.2 with a 732 rating, just four points behind Australia’s Annabel Sutherland, who holds the No.1 ranking for the first time.
Iqbal lost rating points and relinquished the top spot after taking only three wickets in the series against Ireland, which Pakistan women lost 1-2.

Ireland all-rounder Orla Prendergast has been rewarded for her strong performances against Pakistan, reaching a career-high 19th place in the latest ICC Women’s T20I Player Rankings.
Prendergast shone for Ireland during their recent 2-1 series win over Pakistan, making significant contributions with bat and ball to earn the Player of the Series award. She scored 144 runs across the three matches at an average of 72 and took four valuable wickets with her medium pace bowling.
