Jimmy Shergill and his wife, Priyanka Puri, recently attended the screening of late actor Dharmendra’s last film, Ikkis. The Mohabbatein actor and Puri posed for photos in front of the movie’s poster.
Ikkis, which stars Dharmendra and Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson, Agastya Nanda, in the lead roles, will be released on January 1, 2026. In casual wear, Shergil and Puri looked vibrant at the screening.

Jimmy Shergill and his wife, Priyanka Puri, attended the special screening of Ikkis in Mumbai on the evening of December 29. Among other big names from the industry, Dharmendra’s sons, Sunny and Bobby Deol, Abhay Deol, Salman Khan, Rekha, Naseeruddin Shah, and Ratna Pathak Shah attended the event.
Meanwhile, Shergill and Puri both opted for black clothes. The Collar Bomb actor styled a zip sweatshirt with green pants. The simple ensemble highlighted Shergill’s effortless composure.
Ikkis Release
The biography of soldier Arun Khetrapal, who enlisted at the age of 21 and made history during the 1971 Indo-Pak war, is the subject of the war biopic Ikkis. He was the youngest person to receive the Param Vir Chakra. Filmmaker Mukesh Chhabra praised Ikkis out and out. He felt the movie was “made purely from the heart”.

“A warm welcome to Agastya Nanda and Simar Bhatia — both were beautiful on screen. Endearing eyes, lovely chemistry. Agastya’s innocence and sincerity truly shine,” he added. “A heartfelt film, told with honesty. Cinema that feels personal,” he concluded his post.
Meanwhile, actress Rekha blew a flying kiss to Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson, Agastya Nanda, at the screening. Big B himself was impressed by Nanda’s work. He, in a personal blog, said his grandson excelled in Ikkis.
Amitabh said he was “unable to take my eyes off” Nanda “each time he fills the frames of the film”. Nanda debuted as Archie Andrews in Zoya Akhtar’s Netflix film The Archies. Veteran actor Dharmendra passed away on November 24 this year.
