Amitabh Bachchan was spotted at the Mumbai airport as he headed to Surat to attend the opening ceremony of the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL). Keeping things understated and efficient, the megastar
stepped out of his car and made his way toward the terminal without stopping for the paparazzi.
In the brief moments caught on camera, Amitabh Bachchan was seen engaging in a quick, polite chat with airport security before moving ahead. True to his signature grace, he acknowledged those around him but chose not to pose, keeping the focus firmly on his travel plans instead of the cameras.

For the journey, the actor opted for comfort over flash. He was dressed in a black printed tracksuit and the subtle detailing reflected his preference for fuss-free travel looks. Even without stopping for photos, his presence was enough to draw attention, reminding everyone why he remains one of the most respected figures in Indian cinema.
Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) 2026 will be played at Lalbhai Contractor Stadium, Surat, starting from today till February 6, 2026. The tournament will open with a grand ceremony, hosted by Anupama fame Rupali Ganguly. Amitabh Bachchan will attend to support his team, while Akshay Kumar will make a dramatic helicopter entry. Big B remains the special attraction of this event, though.
Besides Big B and Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Ajay Devgn, Suriya Sivakumar, Ram Charan, Hrithik Roshan, Sachin Tendulkar, Salman Khan and Arpita Khan will also attend the ceremony.

On the film front, Amitabh Bachchan will next be seen in the long-delayed Hindi remake of The Intern. Deepika Padukone, who was originally set to star alongside Big B, has decided to step away from her role in last year. The film is based on the 2015 Hollywood hit starring Anne Hathaway and Robert De Niro. It has faced multiple setbacks since KA Productions acquired the rights in 2020.

Beyond The Intern, Amitabh Bachchan also has Kalki 2, where he reprises his role of Ashwatthama. The first film starred him alongside Deepika Padukone, Prabhas, Disha Patani and Kamal Haasan. Upon its release, Kalki 2898 AD opened to mixed reviews and earned significant numbers at the box office. Now, fans are eagerly waiting for the second part.
