today (Thursday, February 26). While everyone is waiting to see the first glimpse of their favourite couple as bride and groom, details about their traditional wedding have now been revealed.
As per a report by Hindustan Times, the auspicious muhurat for Vijay and Rashmika’s wedding has been scheduled for 8 AM. This means that it is at this sacred moment that the couple will officially tie the knot.
It was previously revealed that the actors will tie the knot in two different ceremonies – to honour their Telugu and Kodava traditions. As reported by India Today, their first wedding ceremony will follow traditional Telugu Hindu rituals, representing Vijay Deverakonda’s heritage. This is the ceremony which will take place at 8 am. It will be followed by a Kodava ceremony later in the evening, which will celebrate Rashmika Mandanna’s roots.
Vijay and Rashmika are getting married in Udaipur, where they have been for the last three days. The couple kicked off their pre-wedding festivities with a special Japanese dinner for their guests. This was followed by a volleyball and a cricket match. The next day, the couple hosted a mega sangeet night. Reportedly, Rashmika set the stage on fire during the ceremony when she danced to her hit track Angaaron Ka Ambarsar for the love of her life. After Sangeet, the actors also hosted a Haldi ceremony.
