Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli have once again caught public attention with their recent movements in India. Shortly after their spiritual visit to Vrindavan, the celebrity couple was spotted returning
to Mumbai before heading out to their home in Alibaug on Wednesday afternoon.
Casual style for a quiet getaway
A brief video circulating on paparazzi platforms captured Anushka and Virat stepping out in understated, comfortable fashion. Anushka opted for an easygoing yet polished look, wearing blue-and-white striped trousers paired with a classic white shirt. Virat complemented her style with black jeans, a white tee, and a black jacket. The couple appeared relaxed and unhurried, reflecting their fondness for keeping things simple and private during outings.

Spiritual stop in Vrindavan
Prior to their Alibaug trip, Anushka and Virat were seen in Vrindavan, where they visited spiritual guide Premanand Ji Maharaj at the Shri Hit Radha Keli Kunj Ashram. The visit came soon after the couple returned to India from London, where they had been spending time with their children, Vamika and Akaay.
Videos from the ashram quickly gained traction online, showing the duo dressed in modest attire with chandan applied on their foreheads. They were also seen wearing Tulsi kanthi malas, which sparked speculation among followers that they may have received diksha. This was reportedly their third visit to the ashram, and fans praised the couple for their serene demeanor and grounded outlook despite their global fame.
Anushka Sharma’s work update
Professionally, Anushka Sharma has maintained a low profile in recent years. Her last full-fledged acting role was in Aanand L Rai’s 2018 film Zero, co-starring Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. Despite high expectations, the film did not fare well commercially. She later made a special appearance in the song Ghodey Pe Sawaar from her production venture Qala.
Anushka was slated to make her comeback with Chakda Xpress, a biographical film based on former Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami. However, the project has encountered delays. While there has been no official announcement about its cancellation, industry reports indicate that creative and financial disagreements between Netflix and Clean Slate Filmz have stalled its progress.
