Mrunal Thakur On Inviting Dhanush For Son Of Sardaar 2 Screening
Mrunal Thakur, who has been promoting her film Do Deewane Seher Mein, recently called herself a huge fan of Dhanush. While speaking with Mirchi Plus, she said, “After watching Raayan, Maari, Raanjhanaa, Captain Miller, I am a big, big fan of him. Asuran too. I can watch it multiple times. And he is such an institution and it takes so much for an actor to take out that performance from other actors too. So he is a fantastic lyricist, writer, dancer, actor, director, what not.”
She further revealed that she invited him to the screening of her film ‘Son Of Sardaar 2’ while he was shooting for Tere Ishk Mein. “It so happened that while he was shooting for Tere Ishk Mein, I just was like ‘Sir, can you please come for the screening of Son Of Sardaar?’ I didn’t know he would come. And he just came and I was so happy. I was like this is really sweet. And I really wish to work with him one day,” she said.
Mrunal Thakur And Dhanush’s Wedding Rumours
Mrunal’s wedding rumours with Dhanush have also been making headlines since the last few weeks. While several media reports recently claimed that the two actors are likely to tie the knot soon, Thakur recently dismissed all speculations. She was speaking to Hindustan Times when she laughed off the rumours and shared, “Woh to shaadi ho rahi hai (The wedding is taking place) according to them.”
Further, when asked if these rumours affect her in any way, Mrunal added, “Up until now, I didn’t have a PR team. I had to hire a team to sort things out because my home address was out in public. To protect myself, I had to hire a team. But I have realised that even if I spend ₹3 crore, ₹6 crore, ₹10 crore, itni publicity mujhe kabhi nahi milegi (I would never get such publicity). So, a big thank you to everybody who has been spreading fake rumours.”
