as well as celebrities have showered praise on Ranveer’s spectacular performance in the film, a certain section of social media users pointed out that the actor’s wife-actress Deepika Padukone is allegedly not among them. But there’s a catch.
Of late, certain posts have emerged on the micro-blogging platform X, where some users are taking a dig at Deepika Padukone for not supporting Ranveer Singh. They’ve been asking why the actress hasn’t uploaded anything about Dhurandhar.
Sharing their thoughts, one user wrote, “Has anyone seen India’s mental health ambassador, Deepika Padukone, post anything about Dhurandhar so far? Not a single Instagram Story or X-post. Leave alone the movie, not even for her husband, who played a pivotal role in the movie. Unless I’ve been living under a rock!”

One person just blatantly asked, “Deepika Padukone, aapki kya ray hain apne pati dev ke performance ke bartein main? Movie toh dekhi hogi na aapne? (What are your thoughts on your husband’s performance? You must’ve seen the movie, right?”

Although such negative remarks are doing the rounds on the internet, there’s no truth to these claims. Reason? Deepika Padukone has already given a shout-out to Ranveer Singh and the Dhurandhar team in her now-disappeared Instagram Stories.
In one post, she added a photo of the Indian flag and wrote, “Bharat Mata ki Jai”, coupled with a hashtag of Dhurandhar.

Before that, she dropped the film’s poster and penned a heartfelt note that read, “Dhurandhar has been watched and is worth every minute of those 3.36 hours. So do yourself a favour and get to the cinema hall now! So incredibly proud of you, Ranveer Singh.”
