Alia Bhatt is currently busy promoting her upcoming film, Alpha. The YRF Spy Universe film also stars Sharvari, Bobby Deol, and Anil Kapoor in key roles. The highly anticipated action thriller marks Alia’s
foray into the spy universe and promises a power-packed narrative led by two female protagonists. Earlier today, June 17, Alia and Sharvari launched the much-awaited trailer of their action film, and it has been receiving positive reactions from the audience. Amid hectic promotions, Alia was seen gracing News18 India’s Amrit Ratna 2026. During the candid conversation, the actress opened up about her and Ranbir Kapoor’s daughter, Raha Kapoor. She revealed how her munchkin is also meant for the stage.
While speaking at the event, Alia Bhatt revealed that she had always dreamed of becoming an actress and would often perform in front of the mirror as a child. After hearing about Alia’s childhood dream, the host asked whether her daughter was also showing signs of following in her footsteps as an artist. To this, the actress laughed and replied, “She is also meant for the stage, if I can say so myself. She loves many things, I would say. Abhi woh sports mein bhi bahut interested hai. She has a keen interest in sports and activities. Vo filmy bhi bahut hai, gaane bhi achhe se sunti hai. She wants to dance. She picks up steps very fast.”
She further added, “So my little girl is still growing and observing and putting her hand into different things, whether it’s art, dance or sports. But she’s a leader and a thinker in her own way.”
Recently, even Pooja Bhatt said that Raha is born to be an actor. During her conversation with Vickey Lalwani, Alia’s big sister said, “I think she is born to be one. Unless she becomes a NASA scientist… I don’t know. If you look at that child, she is riveting and look at the genes. There’s a spark. When she walks into a room, everybody pales in comparison. Your eye only wants to rest on her.”
Meanwhile, Alia’s film Alpha is set to hit theatres on July 3.
