Out of the total planned services, Indian Railways has already notified 660 Summer Special Trains, covering 11,294 trips. The remaining trains are expected to be notified in phases, further boosting availability during the high-demand period.
Summer Special Trains: Zone-Wise Allocation
The Summer Special Trains are being operated across all major railway zones to ensure balanced connectivity nationwide. Among the top-performing zones:
Central Railway leads with 3,082 trips,
East Central Railway follows with 2,711 trips,
North Western Railway accounts for 2,245 trips.
Other major contributors include Northern Railway, Western Railway and South Central Railway, all playing a key role in expanding the reach of Summer Special Trains across regions.
