Late-night clubbing turned into chaos in Bengaluru after two drunk women allegedly assaulted a cab driver and people gathered at the spot. The incident reportedly began after they left a pub and were travelling
towards JP Nagar.
According to the police, the bike they were riding crashed into a car from behind. After the collision, the situation escalated. A video of the incident shows the women shouting and abusing on the road.
The women are accused of attacking the car driver and people gathered at the spot. Witnesses told police that they used slippers and also made obscene gestures during the altercation.
When officers reached the location, the confrontation continued. The women allegedly tried to assault the police personnel who attempted to control the situation and take them into custody.
They were taken to a police station and underwent a medical examination. Later, their families were informed and notices were issued before they were released.
A case has been registered at Hulimavu Police Station, and further investigation is underway.
