Fighter, the 2024 film starring Hrithik Roshan and directed by Siddharth Anand, received quite positive reviews. Recently, reports suggested that the movie might have a sequel, and a reply from the director
built quite a lot of hope. Now, an update states otherwise, as there have been no discussions between Hrithik and Siddharth.
Speaking to Bollywood Hungama, a source confirmed, “There is no discussion between Hrithik and Siddharth regarding Fighter 2. These rumours are baseless.”

Inspired by a story written by Siddharth Anand along with Ramon Chibb, the movie stars Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone in the lead, along with Karan Singh Grover, Akshay Oberoi, Rishabh Sawhney, and Sanjeeda Sheikh in supporting roles. Backed by Viacom18 Studios in collaboration with Marflix Pictures, the film marks the first instalment in the planned aerial action franchise. Fighter features cinematography by Satchith Paulose, with Aarif Sheikh heading the editing department. Composer duo Vishal–Shekhar have scored the music for the drama.
