Suniel Shetty’s Reunion WIth Akshay Kumar Gets Bigger
Suniel Shetty and Akshay Kumar are not only reuniting for Hera Pheri 3 but also coming together for another film, Welcome To The Jungle. Fans have always loved their easy chemistry, especially in comedy hits like the Hera Pheri franchise and De Dana Dan. Now, director Ahmed Khan has shared new details about Shetty’s character, and from what he has revealed, the Dhadkan actor will be stepping into an iconic role in the film. In an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla, Ahmad revealed, “Suniel is playing the character that we have picked from Awara Pagal Deewana, Yeda Anna. So, he is playing Yeda Anna with a little different touch.” Ahmad shared that viewers will get to see the classic “Anna” side of Suniel Shetty; the same funny, goofy Yeda Anna and Shyam vibe that fans have always loved. He also added that Suniel’s character will have a great banter with co-actors Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi in the film. “So, it multiplies three times. He is having a ball, and so are we.”

He will next be seen in Bhooth Bangla, a horror-comedy directed by Priyadarshan, marking their reunion after 14 years. The duo, who last worked together on De Dana Dan (2009), are reportedly recreating their classic comedic magic with a supernatural twist.
Adding to the buzz, Akshay will also headline Haiwaan, another Priyadarshan directorial that reunites him with Saif Ali Khan after nearly two decades. The thriller is said to be a Hindi remake of the acclaimed Malayalam hit Oppam, promising a mix of suspense, emotion, and powerful performances.
