This year witnessed Aryan Khan’s much-awaited directorial debut with The Ba***ds of Bollywood. After attaining wide acclaim for the series, the star kid bagged his first award on Friday night.

received the NDTV Best Debut Director of the Year award. A proud moment unfolded as Aryan’s grandmother, Savita Chhibber, reacted emotionally to Aryan’s achievement.
Aryan Khan’s Grandmother Is ‘So Proud’ of Him
Expressing her joy, Savita shared as reported by NDTV, “I’m very happy. May he be very successful. My blessings to him. I love you the most. I’m so proud. At this age, I’m just hearing about my grandson, and his achievement has been honoured by the whole country.”
After hearing her kind words, Aryan was spotted with a wide smile and promised that his next project would be dedicated to her. He also walked up to his grandmother and shared a warm hug, drawing applause from the audience.

Thanking the entire cast and crew of The Ba***ds of Bollywood, Aryan shared, “First of all, I would like to thank my cast, crew and Netflix, who trusted a first-time director so much and worked with me with so much love, hard work and enthusiasm.”
He added, “Congratulations to all the winners tonight. This is my first award. And I hope I will get many more awards. Because, like my dad, I also like awards a lot. But this award is not for him.”
Aryan then dedicated the award to his mother, Gauri Khan. “This award is for my mom because my mom always tells me to sleep early and not to make fun of people. And today, for all these things, NDTV has given me this award,” he said, adding, “I know I will get less scolding at home today.”

This 7-episode satirical action comedy series follows Bollywood newcomer Aasmaan Singh (Lakshya), who navigates the glitz and glamour of the industry while getting involved in underworld ties and falling for superstar Ajay Talwar’s (Bobby Deol) daughter.
The series features Bobby Deol, Lakshya, Raghav Juyal, Sahher Bambba, Anya Singh, Manoj Pahwa, Manish Chaudhari, Rajat Bedi, Meherzan Mazda, Divik Sharma, and Mona Singh in prominent roles.
