The Indian Embassy in Thailand on Thursday issued a travel advisory urging Indian nationals to closely monitor updates from Thai authorities before visiting areas near the Thailand–Cambodia border. The advisory comes
amid heightened security measures in select border regions following recent tensions.
“In view of the situation near the Thailand–Cambodia border, Indian travellers who plan to visit these areas are advised to check updates from Thai official sources, including TAT Newsroom,” the Embassy said in a post on X.

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) also released a bulletin stating that travel within Thailand remains normal and that enhanced security measures are limited to specific border districts near Cambodia. According to TAT, rail services to Ban Khlong Luek have been suspended, while buses to Kantharalak continue to operate as usual.
Indian authorities have advised travellers to stay updated through official channels such as the TAT Newsroom and to follow guidance from local agencies.
