In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the director revealed that he watched the film last week and thoroughly enjoyed it. “I saw Dhurandhar last week. I enjoyed it, and I really did. I think it was out there and I enjoyed it,” Suri said, praising the film’s bold treatment and execution.

Made under the direction of Aditya Dhar and produced under the banners of Jio Studios and B62 Studios, Dhurandhar is a large-scale action entertainer that showcases the bravery of India’s special agents operating in Pakistan. Released on December 5, 2025, the film brings together a powerhouse ensemble cast including Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, and Sara Arjun.
The film, inspired by real-life events linked to National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, stars Ranveer Singh in the role of a fearless undercover spy. Dhurandhar’s Box Office Collection
The film’s box office numbers further underline its massive success. According to early estimates by industry tracker Sacnilk, Dhurandhar crossed the Rs 480 crore mark within 15 days of its release. The film earned approximately Rs 207.25 crore in its first week, followed by around Rs 253.35 crore in its second week. As of now, the total box office collection stands at an impressive Rs 484 crore, cementing Dhurandhar as one of the biggest hits of 2025.
