Mumbai’s airport turned into a celebrity hotspot as Suriya touched down in the city post-Pongal festivities. Fans and photographers were quick to spot the superstar and within moments, the terminal was
buzzing with excitement.
The moment he stepped out, the crowd rushed, and the sound of camera clicks echoed through the air as everyone tried to catch a glimpse of the Tamil superstar.
Despite the chaos, Suriya kept it low-key and composed. With his head slightly down, he carefully made his way from the terminal to his waiting car, ensuring the woman accompanying him was safely escorted. But he didn’t completely avoid the crowd.
For a moment, he paused, waved, and clicked photos with some lucky fans. The selfies and candid interactions only added to the vibe as fans tried to capture every fleeting moment.

Latest Update On Karuppu
Meanwhile, an update on Suriya’s upcoming film Karuppu has sent fans into frenzy. The film directed by RJ Balaji is set to arrive in cinemas soon but the release date has not been confirmed yet. Addressing the same, RJ Balaji released a video last week and updated fans about the delay in the release of the film.
He assured fans, “For all Suriya fans, cinema lovers, and ‘Karuppu’ enthusiasts, here’s some good news. We’ve already released 473 posters across Diwali, New Year, and other festivals, so there will be no special Pongal poster today. The next official update will come with the second song release along with the release date.”
Suriya’s Role In Karuppu
Karuppu will see Suriya playing the role of millionaire Ayyanaar Swami against RJ Balaji who, besides being the director, takes the role of the antagonist in the film. The star cast also includes Trisha, Yogi Babu, Natty Nataraj and Swasika. According to the reports, the film is touted to be a courtroom investigation drama which is expected to be released in May this year.
Suriya’s last film was Retro alongside Pooja Hegde. It is available for streaming on Netflix.
