In a recent conversation with Elvish Yadav on his podcast, Hina Khan and Rocky Jaiswal called Avika and Milind’s decision to get married on the sets of a reality show a daring move and said, “Bahut daring cheez hai (It’s a very daring move). If you ask us personally, we can’t do this.”
“We are a little personal. Hum zyada woh bahar nahi karte hain (We don’t really do all that in public),” Rocky continued, while Hina added, “Par unki apni marzi hai. Par hai Milind ek number ka kanjoos. Paise bachaye hain usne (But it’s their own choice. Milind is extremely stingy, number one. He has saved a lot of money).”
Avika on getting married on national TV
Talking exclusively to News18 Showsha, Avika revealed that it was her idea to get married on TV. “When I told Milind, he said that my intentions were right, but people will criticise and say I did it for the money. At the end of the day, I knew my intentions were right, and he agreed, and that’s what matters. So, karo jise troll karna hai, karo,” she said.
Slamming trolls for questioning their life choices, Milind added, “Nowadays, tell me a wedding where there aren’t 50 photographers and people making reels, everyone is doing it. The difference is that she did it with better intentions.”

Avika and Milind got married on Pati Patni Aur Panga on September 30, 2025. The couple’s wedding was held in a traditional setup on the show’s sets, attended by fellow contestants and close family members. Colors TV shared a teaser of the event on Instagram with the caption, “#MilKa ke shaadi ke liye aaya hai sabko bulaava, kya iss haseen pal ke liye aap sab hai taiyaar?”
