She recalled a memory from 2006 during the ‘Heat’ World Tour and how Preity stood up for her when she was facing a serious problem with a local organiser at one of the USA destinations. She praised her ‘Fauji resolve’, and wrote that she has the utmost love and respect for the ‘Kal Ho Na Ho’ actress.

Celina took to her Instagram to share a major throwback photo with Preity Zinta and Akshay Kumar. In the caption, she wrote, “Preity Zinta, Goodenough by name, brigade commander by character. Happy birthday to my darling Preity A fellow Fauji daughter A woman of true grit, purpose & spine. On her birthday today, I want to remember an incident from our 2006 “Heat” World Tour where this photo was taken, HEAT was a major Bollywood concert series featuring Preity, myself, Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan & Sushmita Sen.”
“While all actor colleagues on this concert tour were amazing, Preity ended up witnessing a serious problem I faced with a local organiser at one of the US destinations. What I can never forget is how Preity stood up for me. No theatrics. No noise. Just #fauji resolve & character,” she wrote.
