The festive spirit of Ganesh Chaturthi lit up the city as several Bollywood celebrities gathered to celebrate the auspicious occasion. Actress Mrunal Thakur shared glimpses of the celebrations on social
media, where she was seen in the company of actors Rakul Preet Singh, Jackky Bhagnani, Pragya Jaiswal, and others in the joyous festivities.
In the Instagram picture, the stars were dressed in colourful traditional attire, posing with folded hands against a beautifully adorned backdrop. The atmosphere reflected joy, devotion, and togetherness as the group welcomed Bappa with prayers and devotion.

Mrunal Looked Ethereal
After her own Ganesh puja, Mrunal visited Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani’s residence for the festivities. The actor looked ethereal in a custom Mayyur Girotra outfit as she posed for the paparazzi at the celebrations. The ensemble featured a short, silver zardozi-embroidered kurta paired with matching ankle-length pants and a chikankari dupatta. The highlight of her traditional look was a Maharashtrian-style nath (nose ring).

Bappa’s Home, Nothing Feels More Special Than This
Mrunal also shared some candid moments from the Ganesh Chaturthi festivities at her home. She welcomed Bappa at her home and said, “Nothing feels more special than this.” She posted an array of photos and videos from the celebrations on Instagram.

“Bappa’s homeee, nothing feels more special than this. Every year when Bappa comes home, it feels like he brings a little extra light and peace with him.And um, sooo many modaks incoming hehe,” the caption read.
In one video, she welcomes Ganpati home, while another shows her posing with modaks. A third photograph depicted the prasad she consumed during the bhog time, while another featured her with friends and family.

Ganesh Chaturthi, one of the most celebrated festivals in Maharashtra, is known for bringing families and friends together. Also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi, the auspicious and beloved festival was celebrated on Wednesday with immense devotion and grandeur across India and beyond. The 10-day Hindu festival is commemorated by prayers and community celebrations, culminating in the Visarjan, which involves immersing idols in water (September 6).
