There’s some good news for The Family Man fans! Darshan Kumaar has confirmed that season 3 of the hit spy-thriller is just around the corner and will be dropping in “two-three months.” That means it won’t
be long before we see Srikant Tiwari (Manoj Bajpayee) back in action, juggling between high-stakes missions and his equally chaotic family life. Led by Manoj Bajpayee alongside Sharib Hashmi, Darshan Kumaar, Priyamani and others, the Raj & DK-directed spy thriller is slated to premiere on Amazon Prime Video before the end of 2025.
Update on The Family Man 3 release
Darshan told Zoom TV, “The Family Man 3 bohot jald aane wali hai. Within 2-3 months aa jani chahiye. Iss baar Major Sameer aapko surprises dega. Voh ek mastermind hai isne India ke against logon ko laya hai. Major Sameer iss baar bohot shock kar dega.”
(The Family Man 3 will be releasing soon. Within 2-3 months it should be out. This time, Major Sameer will be surprising the audience. He is a mastermind who conspired against India in the previous seasons. Major Sameer will be shocking all.)
The third season will see Jaideep Ahlawat and Nimrat Kaur joining the primary cast of The Family Man. Praising his new co-stars, Darshan shared, “Kamaal ke do naye chehre jude hai humare saath toh aur bhi accha hone wala hai.” (Incredible actors have joined us and this season will be even better.)

The teaser of The Family Man is 58-second long and it gives us a gripping preview of the turmoil to come. It shows how Srikanth is struggling to balance his roles as a family man and an undercover operative facing fresh threats to national security. The clip closes on Ahlawat seen riding a motorcycle in a cape, and Kaur adding suspense in a dimly lit restaurant scene.

About the show
Returning alongside Bajpayee are series regulars Priyamani (Suchitra), Sharib Hashmi (JK), Ashlesha Thakur (Dhriti), and Vedant Sinha (Atharv), as the Tiwari family continues to anchor the emotional core of the show. While the teaser confirmed a 2025 release, an exact date is yet to be revealed.
Nikhil Madhok, Director & Head of Originals at Prime Video India, had earlier spoken about the overwhelming demand for the series. “’The Family Man’ has become one of Prime Video’s most beloved franchises globally. We’ve been flooded with requests for Season 3 ever since viewers wrapped up Season 2,” he said.
Reuniting once again are creators Raj & DK, along with writer Suman Kumar, who promise to raise the stakes even higher this season. “Season 3 will push Srikant and his team to their limits,” the creators shared. “We’ve crafted a story that blends explosive action with deep emotional conflict. This time, the threats are more complex, and Srikant’s personal life gets even more tangled.”
Since its debut in 2019, The Family Man has become one of India’s most successful web series.
