Mumbai is set for a very busy Thursday. First will be the Durga Puja immersions, then the Dussehra celebrations, followed by the annual rallies of Uddhav Thackeray and Eknath Shinde in the evening. To
ensure smooth traffic movement, the Mumbai Police has announced special arrangements, diversions, and no-parking zones for the day. Shinde will hold the rally at the NESCO Centre in Goregaon, while Thackeray will hold the rally at its traditional venue – Shivaji Park in Dadar. The Mumbai police have deployed more than 16,500 constables and nearly 2,900 officers along with the personnel of various special units across the city in view of the Dussehra rallies of political parties and processions for immersion of goddess Durga idols on October 2, officials told PTI.

Traffic arrangements are made for October 2 between 9.00 hrs. and 23.55 hours.
Diversions for vehicles towards Dadar
Traffic on SVS Road between Siddhivinayak Mandir Junction and Kapad Bazar Junction will be redirected via SK Bole Road, Agar Bazar, Portuguese Church and Gokhale Road.
Vehicles approaching from Raja Badhe Chowk towards Keluskar Road (North) will be diverted through LJ Road, Gokhale Road, and Steel Man Junction.
Vehicles on Lt Dilip Gupte Road will be guided towards LJ Road via Raja Badhe Junction. Gadkari Chowk traffic moving towards Keluskar Road (South) will be rerouted through M. Raut Marg.
On Bal Govindas Marg, westbound traffic from Padmabai Thakkar Marg via Senapati Bapat Marg will head towards Manorama Nagarkar Marg.
Vehicles on Dadasaheb Rege Road, between Senapati Bapat Statue and Gadkari Junction, will be diverted to LJ Road, Gokhale Road and Ranade Road.
No parking on these roads
The police said that there will be no parking on the following roads:
SVS Road (From Siddhivinayak Mandir Junction up to Yes Bank)
Keluskar Road (South) and (North), Dadar
MB Raut Road (From its junction with S.V.S. Road), Dadar
Pandurang Naik Marg (M. B. Raut Road) Dadar.
Dadasaheb Rege Marg (From Senapati Bapat Statue up to Gadkari Junction), Dadar
Lt Dilip Gupte Marg (From Shivaji Park Gate No. 4 up to Shitaladevi Temple Junction)
NC Kelkar Marg (From Gadkari Junction up to Hanuman Temple Junction), Dadar
LJ Road, Rajabade Junction to Gadkari Junction
No entry, how you can reach instead
No entry from SVS Road from Siddhivinayak Mandir Junction up to Kapad Bazar Junction, Mahim. From Siddhivinayak Junction, you can head to SK Bole Road-Agar Bazar-Portuguese Church and Gokhale Road.
No entry from Raja Badhe chowk junction up to Keluskar Marg (North) junction, Dadar. You can take LJ.Road-Gokhale Road-Steel Man Junction, then proceed through Gokhale Road.
No entry from Lt Dilip Gupte Road from its junction on Pandurang Naik Marg for southbound traffic. Proceed from Raja Bade Junction towards LJ Road.
No entry from Gadkari Chowk junction up to Keluskar road (south), Dadar.
Take MB Raut Marg instead.
No entry from Bal Govindas Marg from Padmabai Thakkar Marg Junction from Senapati Bapat Marg up to L J Marg westbound. Traffic will be diverted to Manorama Nagarkar Marg.
No entry from Dadasahaeb Rege Road from Senapati Bapat Statue to Gadkari Junction. Traffic will be diverted to LJ Road, Gokhale Road and Ranade Road.
