Sidharth Malhotra’s Vvan Reportedly Gets Postponed
Sidharth Malhotra is currently working on his upcoming film Vvan. However, it seems like fans have to wait for the film a little longer than expected. According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, Vvan is likely to be postponed.
The film was originally scheduled to release on May 15 but has reportedly pushed its release date to avoid a clash with Akshay Kumar’s Bhoot Bangla, as both films are produced by Ektaa Kapoor.
“Vvan is no longer releasing on May 15. The film is produced by Ekta Kapoor, and her other film, Bhooth Bangla, directed by Priyadarshan and starring Akshay Kumar, Tabu, Wamiqa Gabbi, Paresh Rawal and the late Asrani, has been pushed from April 3 to May 15,” a source told the news outlet.
“Releasing two films of her production on the same day was not practical. Accordingly, Vvan has been pushed. The new date has been kept a secret by the makers, and they are expected to mention it on the first look poster,” the source added.
According to reports, the first look poster of the film is scheduled to drop today on the occasion of Sidharth Malhotra’s birthday.
Vvan Cast And Plot
Vvan: Force of the Forest stars Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia in the lead roles. Set against the backdrop of an ancient forest, Vvan is rooted in Indian folklore. The film, directed by Deepak Mishra and Arunabh Kumar, has been shot in real forest locations to ensure authenticity.
Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Work Front
Coming back to the actress, Kareena Kapoor Khan is all set to star in Meghna Gulzar’s crime thriller Daayra. In this film, she will be seen alongside Prithviraj Sukumaran. The film is set to release in 2026.
