She highlighted the importance of not letting the constant chatter on social media affect one’s self-worth. The new mom emphasised that true confidence stems from embracing oneself rather than seeking everyone’s approval. On October 8, Katrina was in London to celebrate one year of her beauty brand Kay Beauty in the UK.

While interacting with the beauty influencers at the event, Katrina Kaif, who dished out major boss babe energy, emphasised the importance of not allowing online narratives to shape one’s sense of self-worth, particularly in an age where everyone seems to have an opinion to share. She said, “I think we really need to be careful of letting the narrative on social media affect our self-worth and inner value because there are so many opinions out there. If you start catering to all of them, it really hampers your ability to make choices for yourself.”
Speaking about how criticism can influence personal choices, Katrina pointed out that constantly responding to public opinion can make it harder to move forward. She explained that allowing every comment or criticism to guide her decisions could have prevented her from making progress in life. She added, “There are times when the world is going to celebrate you, and other times you have to really be your own biggest cheerleader.”
She also highlighted the importance of embracing oneself through different stages of life, acknowledging that confidence and self-image can fluctuate. While there may be days when people feel their best, there are also times when they may struggle with how they see themselves. She stressed the need to accept oneself in the present while recognising that personal growth is a continuous journey.
