Regional Support for India’s ‘AI for All’ Vision
Bangladesh’s endorsement underscores the growing regional support for India’s call for “AI for All,” rooted in equity, access, and global cooperation.
The Declaration is guided by the principle of “Sarvajan Hitaya, Sarvajan Sukhaya” (Welfare for All, Happiness for All), emphasising that AI’s benefits must be equitably shared across humanity.
The document highlights the need to strengthen international cooperation, promote multistakeholder engagement, respect national sovereignty and advance accessible and trustworthy AI frameworks.
Seven Pillars of Global AI Cooperation
The New Delhi Declaration is structured around seven key pillars or “Chakras” democratizing AI resources, economic growth and social good, secure and trusted AI, AI for science, access for social empowerment, human capital development, and resilient and efficient AI systems.
These pillars aim to expand digital infrastructure, ensure affordable access to AI tools, promote energy-efficient systems, and prepare nations for an AI-driven economy through skilling and reskilling initiatives.
