Alia Bhatt, Fawad Khan and Sidharth Malhotra’s Kapoor and Sons have completed 10 years. The film was loved for its storyline and songs. Sidharth Malhotra celebrated the biggest milestone and penned a long
note. Karan Johar also shared the script and called it his favourite film.
Taking to his Instagram stories, Karan Johar shared the script and wrote, “10 years of one of my favourite Dharma movies #kapoorandsons.” Earlier, Sidharth Malhotra also shared how he read the script and ended up with tears in his eyes. Speaking to Hindustan Times, Sidharth said, “When I first read the script, I remember finishing it with tears in my eyes. It felt so real, like stepping into a warm, chaotic Punjabi family where every character had a heartbeat. Playing Arjun was special because he was layered, vulnerable, and carrying so much inside him. 10 years later, people still talk about the film, the scenes, and the family dynamics, like they’ve lived with these characters themselves. That kind of love is rare, and I feel grateful we got to bring that story to life,” Malhotra further added.

All about Kapoor & Sons
The film follows the story of two brothers from a chaotic household. Following their grandfather’s heart attack, the brothers travel to Coonoor to visit their parents and grandfather. The brothers had a major fallout after Arjun (played by Sidharth) claimed Rahul (played by Fawad) stole his story and turned it into a bestselling novel. Kapoor & Sons marked Alia and Sidharth’s second on-screen collaboration after their 2012 debut film, Student of the Year.

On the work front, Sidharth was last seen opposite Janhvi Kapoor in a film that released last year. He is currently working on the upcoming project Vann, which also features Tamannaah Bhatia.
